Ruffneck Scarves and Seattle Team Shop Join Up to Launch Scarf Brigade.com

Scarf Brigade.com is a new online retail soccer scarf shop serving the global soccer community with high-quality scarves for a variety of clubs and countries around the world. Scarf Brigade is a joint venture between Ruffneck Scarves and Seattle Team Shop.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) July 15, 2009 -- In an effort to create the biggest and best selection of soccer scarves available on the web, Ruffneck Scarves and Seattle Team Shop have joined forces to launch http://www.ScarfBrigade.com

"We want to offer soccer fans and scarf collectors around the world a site where they can get unique and traditional scarf designs from all of the premium brands including Adidas, Nike and Ruffneck," said Jeff Scoma, founder of Seattle Team Shop. "Our plan is to also offer consumers an interactive opportunity to submit ideas for scarf designs they would like to see in the shop."

Not only will Scarf Brigade carry the scarves of the top soccer clubs from around the world, but they will also offer a storefront for youth clubs, high schools, colleges and supporters groups that are interested in selling their custom scarves on the site. The purpose is to allow these organizations a chance to increase the effectiveness of fundraisers, improve merchandise sales and promote their brand.

Since the early 1900's, when the demonstration began in English football, the soccer scarf has been the most significant and traditional garment seen on fans all over the world. The scarves come in a variety of colors and sizes, customized with everything from slogans to club crests, and raised by supporters in stadiums around the globe, no matter the climate.

"Our mission since the beginning has been to provide soccer fans with scarves they can wear and raise with the pride and passion they display in supporting their favorite team," stated Erin O'Brien, co-owner of Ruffneck Scarves.

Scarf Brigade.com is now live and online, and has begun to serve the global soccer community with high-quality scarves for a variety of clubs and countries around the world.

Seattle Team Shop began in 2003 as a single, family owned store on Occidental Avenue in the heart of Seattle's sports action, aimed at providing the Seattle sports fan with market-targeted selection of officially licensed apparel & gifts. Over the years, the fan-driven company has grown to encompass 3 more Seattle Team Shops in local malls, 2 Washington Husky stores in the University District of Seattle and a new flagship store called SoDo Sports, which boasts among its many departments a broad selection of soccer gear. The Scarf Brigade partnership with Ruffneck Scarves becomes their sixth online store.

Ruffneck Scarves was founded in 2007 in Seattle, Washington and specializes in custom soccer scarves for organizations of all levels. Ruffneck's scarves can be found around the necks of supporters groups, youth clubs, high schools, colleges and soccer fans around the world.
