Steve brings a dynamic personality, a wealth of knowledge about this exceptional marketplace, and a keen understanding of new media and where it can benefit advertisers

Steve Mytinger has joined The Magazine Group (themagazinegroup.com) as publisher of Washington Flyer Media. He will direct new business development and advertising sales for the Flyer's print, online, video and interactive kiosk operations that target the 42 million travelers who use Reagan National and Washington Dulles airports each year.
"Steve brings a dynamic personality, a wealth of knowledge about this exceptional marketplace, and a keen understanding of new media and where it can benefit advertisers," said TMG president Jane Ottenberg. "We're thrilled about the energy he brings to this media platform--it's a trusted brand that has exceptional penetration in this market."
Mytinger most recently served in a sales management role at Vocus, Inc., a maker of public relations management software. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade in sales and sales management at PR Newswire, a global leader in news and information distribution services, where he helped deliver unprecedented growth for the company and its clients.
"I am pleased to have this opportunity to promote the continued growth of a property that boasts such a recognizable and time-honored brand," said Mytinger. "Ask anyone who travels if he or she is familiar with Washington Flyer--whether it's the magazine, online presence, or something seen on Arrivals TV or CNN Headline News at Reagan National or Washington Dulles--and the answer is nearly always 'yes.' Travelers know and love this brand. We anticipate that our efforts over the next several months to enhance our new media offerings will boost results for our advertising partners even more. It's an exciting time to be leading this effort."
