NAPW, National Association of Professional Women, a membership based organization geared towards today's professional women giving members the opportunity to network with like-minded women.

NAPW is pleased to announce the launch of its first Local Chapter in Sacramento, CA. Chapter President, Sharon Darrow of Travel ID Cards has been the pioneer in starting the very first NAPW Local Chapter. Sharon has been a member of The National Association of Professional Women since October of 2008. Sharon joined to help develop her business that was faced with a falling economy and little money; she thought networking with NAPW might be worthwhile. The result of that idea for Sharon has been not only vibrant and diverse, but the start of a major movement on a national level.

The Sacramento Local Chapter meets monthly, and attracts an incredibly diverse group of women. The attendees at a recent meeting included: a Sheriff's Deputy, a specialist in childhood education, a massage therapist, psychoanalysts, an accountant, a nursing supervisor, an engineer, a print broker, women in the legal field, several owners of small independent retail businesses, as well as representatives from various governmental agencies. Their excitement and commitment to supporting one another has inspired other members. Since the commencement of this chapter, NAPW now has several chapters that have launched nationally and is seeing continued growth.

As a member of the NAPW, members have the ability to expand their business network by connecting and networking with other like-minded professionals. For further information on NAPW and the locations of its local chapters, please visit
