Wine enthusiasts are typically college educated professionals who are also interested in movies, books, travel and good food
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 13, 2009
Women & Wine® http://womenwine.com, a social media platform where lovers of wine, food and travel can share stories, post events, photos and videos has licensed technology to create a daily trivia game that can be played through July 18, 2009 at http://womenwinegame.ringorang.com.
Since 2006, W&W creates online content campaigns focused on creating experiences, promos and contests -- and offline signature experiences and events for companies seeking to "win the hearts and minds of this niche audience -- which also now include men who are more interested in the story more than the score," says CEO Julie Brosterman. "It's important with all the noise out there that the message is organic and true to the brand so that the consumer is engaged and curious to learn more. Current and former engagements include TCM, Sofitel, Guess, W Magazine, 10 Cane Rum, Focus Features, the LA Fairplex, Banfi for Rosa Regale, at home viewing parties for the premiere of Drop Dead Diva for Lifetime and more.
Once the player registers, the daily trivia games icon randomly pops up with 12 multiple choice questions a day -- one per hour -- about French wine, food and travel. Users elect to play each round and then points countdown while they search for the correct answer. The daily high scorer will receive a box filled with goodies from the sponsors which include a French music DVD, a whisk, an ice bucket, educational materials and more.
Brosterman encourages players to invite friends to play the game -- or co-workers -- to see who has the greatest level of knowledge. "The best part of the game, of course," she states, is that the player has fun and will come away with information about France that is useful and engaging."
This game was specifically created by Women & Wine® for the Celebrate Summer the French Way campaign with Les Maitres Cuisiniers de France chefs at selected restaurants offering a $30 dining promotion through July 18th. Participating restaurants can be seen at http://mcf-usa.com. Additionally, W&W has set up a page http://womenwine.com/posts/photos for individuals to submit original photos to a contest on How Do You Celebrate Summer the French way which ends on July 18th. The participants in each of these programs must be 21 years of age to participate.
Women & Wine® is in discussion and working with many other companies interested in creating campaigns utilizing W&W's expertise. "Wine enthusiasts are typically college educated professionals who are also interested in movies, books, travel and good food," says Brosterman. Our clients are tv/film, retailers, fashion, hotels and wine regions as well as food, wine and spirits companies. Interested parties should contact e-mail julie (at) womenwine.com.
