We are pleased to add SignaCert to the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance

SignaCert, a leading provider of whitelist content, methods and solutions today announced that it has joined the McAfee® Security Innovation Alliance™ (SIA) partner program. Under the McAfee SIA program, SignaCert will integrate its governance, risk, & compliance (GRC) solution with the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator® (ePO™) console, enabling customers to benefit from known-provenance configuration-based whitelist content delivered through the McAfee ePO platform.

SignaCert solutions enable IT organizations to rapidly achieve and prove that deployed systems match approved configurations and comply with security regulations. The SignaCert method leverages a multiplatform, multivendor Global Trust Repository (GTR) Whitelist, coupled with enterprise specific whitelist content, to provide IT organizations with the information they need to assess deviations on devices under management, enabling high-resolution detection and remediation. SignaCert's Enterprise Trust Server (ETS) centrally captures and manages historical configuration deviations, providing powerful regulatory and audit compliance reporting. Additionally, the ETS provides a rich and extensible dashboard for IT staff to monitor granular IT device deviations on a 'real time' basis.

The SignaCert integration with the ePO software will allow customers to manage SignaCert`s whitelist-based reference configuration and policies through the ePO console. In particular, the integration will leverage an ePO framework to deploy and configure SignaCert agents on ePO managed endpoints, providing joint customers a seamless and centralized reporting and management experience. The integration will complement McAfee's existing content, policy and compliance offerings in the rapidly emerging whitelist product arena. SignaCert's known-provenance whitelist content and delivery methods are delivered via standardized web services, and can readily supplement both Avert Labs and Solidcore product capabilities.

"Adherence to increasing compliance, governance and compliance requirements are increasingly challenging for our customers in all segments," said Wyatt Starnes, SignaCert Founder and CEO. "Whitelisting methods should be considered a baseline requirement to address compliance needs and provide added defense in depth for security and operational management purposes. We look forward to integrating our patented whitelisting capabilities with the ePolicy Orchestrator console to help joint customers maintain the highest level of IT device assurance and compliance across their critical IT environment."

The ePO console is the first platform that lets enterprises and governments centrally manage security and compliance products from multiple vendors, offering unprecedented cost savings and return on investment. With more than 35,000 customers and managing close to 60 million PCs and servers, this unique platform is helping McAfee SIA partners to extend their reach and create complementary functionality. "We are pleased to add SignaCert to the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance," said Ed Barry, senior director of the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance. "Our common customers will benefit from SignaCert`s whitelist content and monitoring capabilities, which extend our own capabilities in this area, all while using our simplified management approach to multivendor solutions."
