Drexel Metals LLC Expands Capacity at Denver Facility to Service Metal Roofing Industry

Drexel Metals is pleased to announce the addition of a new slitting and blanking line to service regional manufacturers of standing seam metal roofing.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) July 16, 2009 -- Drexel Metals is pleased to announce the addition of a new slitting and blanking line to service regional manufacturers of standing seam metal roofing.

"As we grow the Drexel Metals Association of Regional Manufacturers (DMARM) we felt that we needed to add state of the art equipment ,even in this economy, to assure that our customers get as close to on demand service as possible", said Rob Waite, CEO of Drexel Metals LLC.

Joe LaCrue, Denver Sales Manager added, "We are also adding 26 ga flat sheets to our product mix in Denver, to service the shingle roofing industry that produce their own metal trim components. But what we're most excited about has been the interest in the Rocky Mountain States in our Photovoltaic Solar Laminates that fully integrate with our standing seam metal roof systems for both commercial and residential applications."

Drexel Metals' new slitting and blanking line went into service July 1, 2009 and can slit up to 24" wide coil. Its flat sheet capability is up to 24" x 120" and can be produced with protective film.
