Title Shares the Keys to Emerging Victoriously from Life's Trials

Author's book reflects God's love and offers hope to a hurting world

Longwood, FL (PRWEB) July 16, 2009 -- After suffering abuse at a very young age, Xulon Press author, Elaine C. Mount, lived through 16 years of panic attacks, fear and agoraphobia. A self-described "basket case" whose fears had tormented her mind for years, causing her to be housebound, Mount literally came through these trials victoriously by applying the truths found in the Word of God to her life.

In Mount's Xulon Press title, Beyond the Mountain: One Woman's Journey to Discovering Absolute Truth ($11.99, paperback, 978-1-60647-528-7; $19.99, hardcover, 978-1-60647-529-4), the author shows readers how to overcome these panic disorders and fears without medication, strong in the knowledge that God loves and protects them.

Says Mount, "I went from having low self-esteem in the worst way to becoming a confident woman who shares the love of God and offers hope to a hurting world. This is my joy! I [now] do speaking engagements and love the results that come from sharing my story."

Thus far, reports Mount, the rewards and feedback of sharing her experiences with others have been very humbling to her as an author. The book has already had so much interest around the country and she continually receives compliments on it all the time. "[Someone told me] 'I couldn't put it down!'" she explains. "That's a dream statement to all authors!"

Elaine C. Mount is retired from the Wilson County Schools, where she held various jobs as a bookkeeper, secretary, and registrar. She has been married to her husband, Glen, for 38 years, and they have two grown children and three grandchildren. She has been an active member at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon for many years.
