We have families that come here every summer and have been doing so for many years.
Carpinteria, CA, (PRWEB) July 15, 2009
For the second consecutive year, Carpinteria Shores, a premiere oceanfront Santa Barbara vacation rentals provider, has been awarded the 2009 "Best of Carpinteria" Award in the vacation rentals and resorts category by the U.S. Local Business Association ((USLBA).
Carpinteria Shores, located 12 miles south of Santa Barbara, is one of the few Santa Barbara vacation rentals in the area that are both privately owned and located on the "on the sand".
"This has become an enormously popular Santa Barbara vacation rental destination," said Gerald Ryckman, President of the property's association who oversees the vacation rental operation. "We have families that come here every summer and have been doing so for many years."
Part of what accounts for the popularity, says Ryckman, is that the Board constantly offers individual owners to upgrade their vacation rental units as often as possible in order to keep the property fresh and interesting to the legions of families who return to the beachfront resort each year. It could have something to do with the fact that Carpinteria State Beach is known as "the World's Safest Beach" due to its lack of riptides as a result of the positioning of the Channel Islands.
Lamont Simpson and his wife Barbara have been bringing their family to Carpinteria Shores for five years. "I've stayed at other Santa Barbara vacation rentals and nothing compares to this place," said Barbara. "When the sun is setting on the ocean, Carpinteria Shores is as beautiful as anywhere in Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji … anywhere."
The USLBA is an organization based in Washington D.C. and funded by local businesses that operate in small and large towns, large towns across the country. The purpose of USLBA is to promote local business.
Santa Barbara is famous for its Mediterranean climate and scenic beaches. Business for vacation rentals in Santa Barbara has always been brisk. Called the "American Riviera", Santa Barbara is a popular tourist attraction and resort destination for both summer beach visitors as well as winter snowbirds.
"There are a lot of Santa Barbara vacation rentals out there," said Ryckman, holding the award, "and they will all fill up this summer. But what we've created here is a small piece of paradise. That's what this award is all about."
"For those seeking vacation Rentals in Santa Barbara, they know we do everything we can to provide a very positive vacation rental experience that leaves lasting impressions on our guests and cultivates long-lasting relationships."
