Corporate Services Hosts Seminar: Business Success in an Uncertain Economy

Seminar gave attendees 10 keys to success in any economic condition plus data analysis tool and a product strategy update

Baton Rouge, LA (PRWEB) July 16, 2009 -- Corporate Services, LLC, developers of TrakQuip™ and RTMS, the premier equipment and rental software applications, hosted a Business Success in an Uncertain Economy seminar on June 10, 2009 in Houston and June 11, 2009 in Lafayette.

Both seminars kicked off with a welcome from Michael Saint, president of Corporate Services. Following his welcome, Michael introduced Jim Wichterman, former CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management Action Programs (MAP) whose presentation defined 10 keys to success in any economic condition to measure, motivate and move forward. Jim's presentation included team building exercises to enable businesses to become more relevant to customers, while strengthening competitive position, systems and processes to emerge stronger. Jim challenged each participant to set clear goals, create strategies and initiatives, take ownership, create action steps, define triggers and follow-up the process with accountability.

The next part of the seminar focused on "Making the Most of Your Data" where Michael Saint demonstrated features of the Reporting Dashboard, which is an intuitive report writer used to extract data from either TrakQuip or RTMS to create reports exactly how a client wants to view the information. This allows clients to make more effective decisions regarding their business in a timelier manner.

Michael Saint wrapped up the day with an open forum regarding the benefits and progress of the TrakQuip and RTMS .NET Framework project. Beta versions of the supporting modules - accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase order and fleet maintenance - along with a Community Technology Preview (CTP) of the main Rental Management System (RMS) application are slated to be available in the fourth quarter of 2009. Microsoft's .NET Framework is the latest development platform used for creating current and future generation applications and web services.

"The seminar was very good, I enjoyed the new look of RTMS and how it will help us going forward with our business goals and needs. The management practices review and seeing how vital systems data presentation is now more easily attainable, was timely and insightful. Overall the seminar was well organized and professionally presented. I consider the investment of a day of my time a great value," said seminar attendee Joe Hawkins, vice president of Premiere, Inc.

"We appreciate our clients attending this event," said Michael. "They see us as more than just a provider of their mission-critical business applications, but as a partner who is committed to the overall success of their business."
