Technology Allows Users to Design, Deliver and Analyze Survey Data Instantly

The decision to create a multi-platform survey building tool was driven by our customers who wanted a simple, yet effective way to deliver a survey via web and phone

Plum Voice, the leading single-source provider of automated telephony solutions, today announced the availability of Plum Survey, the first tool that allows users to create one survey and deploy it over both the Internet and the telephone. Plum Survey also provides users with real-time analytic tools and graphics to help navigate responses to identify hidden trends, patterns and behaviors.

Designed for businesses and organizations, Plum Survey collects and analyzes valuable data without the high cost of using traditional interactive voice response (IVR) solutions.

"The decision to create a multi-platform survey building tool was driven by our customers who wanted a simple, yet effective way to deliver a survey via web and phone," said Andrew Kuan, chief executive officer, Plum Voice. "With Plum Survey you can choose which respondents are sent emails and which receive phone calls. Once the data is captured, Plum Survey's real-time analytics and reporting features make it faster and easier to evaluate results and measure success."

In the past, when enterprises or market researchers were developing surveys to collect market intelligence and statistics, they were forced to work with both IVR vendors and web developers to create a campaign that reached a targeted number of respondents. This approach was not cost efficient and provided an inconsistent experience for those who answered questionnaires through disparate data collection methods.

Plum Survey eliminates the need to work with multiple vendors and it cuts costs associated with managing and collecting feedback through the Internet and phone.

How Plum Survey Works:

Step One: Design
Plum Survey users can quickly and easily create surveys and customize the look of a web survey, and/or guide users through the process of recording audio prompts over the telephone.

Step Two: Deliver
The web version of the survey can be embedded into an email or a website, or sent to respondents with a link that goes to a standalone webpage. The phone version of the survey allows respondents to call in or users can upload a contact list, check off the call targets, and let Plum Survey make the calls.

Step Three: Analyze
Plum Survey's real-time analytics allow users to identify trends, patterns and behaviors with an easy to use interface. In addition, there are a variety of reporting features that users can use to examine and share key findings including histograms, pie charts, and line diagrams.
