Trainwreck Apparel is this fall's hot new line launching August 2009 to both men and women. The brand had the amazing opportunity to sponsor the one of the most noteworthy skateboarding competitions of the season.

This weekend the Maloof Money Cup was held at the OC Fairgrounds and featured the U.S. Professional Skateboarding Competition for Men's and Women's Pro Street, Men's Pro Vert and the U.S. Amateur Champions. This amazing three day event holds the largest purse in history with more than $450,000 in prize money. Trainwreck was front and center for all the action at the Trainwrecked VIP booth. They had the opportunity to sponsor the event along with Etnies, Monster, Pure Evolution and Wells Fargo and hang out with a few of the pros.

Ryan Sheckler spent some time at the Trainwreck booth and had a few words to say "I'm privileged to be here. This is one of the biggest competitions" Pierre-Luc Gannon said "Maloof Money Cup has a really good street set up. I'm excited to go out there and tear it up." Several pros appeared at Trainwreck's VIP booth including Sandro Dias, Dingo, Christian Hsoy, Bob Burnquist, Rob Lorface, Jeremy Rodgers, Danny Kass, Cierra Fellers, Terri Kennedy, Billy Marks and Kurtis Colamonico. Bob Burnquist said - "It's good to compete with all these young skaters and seeing what the future holds for skateboarding." Sandro Dias remarked "This competition is sick. I'm pretty excited to be here." The skaters hung at the Trainwreck booth taking a breather in between competitions and signing the brand's boards while chatting with the team.

The brand's concept is the idea that most everyone has known a train wreck at some point in their lives and if they haven't yet, they will. The garments for both lines are composed of 100% organic cotton t-shirts making it not only eco-friendly but comfortable as well. The line has a universal theme throughout, it captures love and lust and the emotions they trigger when a relationship ends. Trainwreck Apparel seeks to capture the reasons for an end to a relationship by displaying them as imagery that one can wear to express their experience to others. The collections have four meaningful graphics to describe each state of emotion." Cory Duffel commented about the upcoming line "I have been dressing like this for a while. The look just fits my personality I guess...unique."

All and all the event was a blast and the Trainwreck team had the chance to chill with the Professional and Amateur world of Skateboarding and give them a heads up about their compelling new line; it's one to watch out for!
