Progeo®, the leading experts in the development of nutritional software in Italy introduce their Ecleo®, Nutrifasi® and Cartella Electronica® programs to the US to help combat the overwhelming rate of obesity. Progeo software allows the carrying out of personalized diets both for weight control as well as for the treatment of pathological states by offering nutritionists, doctors and other health practitioners an advanced and scientific data-processing technology to help them create effective diets to satisfy all of their patients and clients needs.

About the Programs

Progeo's programs have been designed to provides all the tools necessary for treating any type of patient/client, from a child to an elderly person, a pregnant woman or a breast-feeding mother to an athlete. The programs take into account all sports carried out, deficiency and excess of vitamins, mineral salts and other nutrients, all types of pathological conditions as well as obesity and eating disorders, any type of food allergy or intolerance and much more.

The structure of the programs is based on an operative platform called Cartella Electronica®, which manages all the data relevant to the patient and allows you to have, in real-time, all the information concerning the patient's physiological functions, reducing in this way the time needed for consulting obsolete paper documents.

The food therapy software Ecleo, which processes daily eating plans, operates on the basis of this platform, without having to reinsert the patient's data which is automatically imported from one program to the other and utilized for the processing of the diet. A user can send the diet via email, export as a PDF or simply print it.

The food therapy software Nutrifasi processes multi-choice meal plans. Here the patient, although being autonomous in choosing the food items that will make up his/her daily diet, is guided in order to assume only food items from food groups that are allowed according to his or her health condition, in the right quantities for achieving the therapeutic target.

All three software programs, in the English language version, are sold together in a single package at the special promotional price of $495.00.

The Mediterranean Diet Influence

In the 1970s, an American scientist discovered that the Mediterranean Diet traditionally adopted in Greece, Italy, Spain and the South of France reduced the risks of many degenerative diseases such as heart disease, Alzheimer's, diabetes and obesity. Later further studies were carried out such as the prestigious LYON by the American Heart Association which demonstrated how this eating style is a useful instrument for significantly reducing the mortality rate caused by coronary heart disease.

Progeo software means that the Mediterranean diet is no longer just a healthy eating style but also a nutritional treatment.
