Surrey, British Columbia (PRWEB) July 18, 2009
Precision Disc Manufacturing Corp. continues to act upon client desires for eco-friendly CD and DVD packaging alternatives, and announces a new no-plastic style of CD sleeve which will be added to their product line by the end of July 2009.
"This new eco-friendly CD sleeve is called the CS220." states General Manager Mike Arnold, "We've been listening to client comments about their CD packaging needs and felt that that a void could be filled by a new product."
The CS220 is an enhancement to an existing eco-friendly CD sleeve, and adds a secondary pocket for inclusion of additional printed materials. This two-fold package is printed on 15pt card-stock, is double-walled for a firm feel plus durability, and provides a practical, attractive and cost-effective means to deliver its valuable contents to the end-user, customer or fan.
"While it's true that CD Digipak is the product that really got the momentum for eco-friendly packaging started in our industry, we've seen there is an equal or greater appetite for our no-plastic line of CD sleeves." explains Arnold. "The internet has triggered a large movement away from traditional retail selling for independent musicians, so the conformity of packaging sizes and styles for display in the retail store environment has really loosened up. That has opened the door for a wider variety of packaging options such as our CD sleeves."
