Enlighten announced today that James Todd Anderson ("JT") has been selected to head its User Experience Group. As VP, Executive Creative Director, Anderson joins Enlighten's management team and will lead the agency's integrated Creative, Design, and Information Architecture groups, responsible for brand strategy, digital campaign development, rich media design and production, social media strategy, online advertising, and website structure and design.
Enlighten formed its UserEXP group in 2007 to build on the agency's legacy of user-centric design while also seeking greater collaboration in the creation of integrated digital brand experiences. The group has recently produced such acclaimed work as the Ban® brand and Curél® Skincare brand sites (2008 WebAward winners), EnvironmentsForLiving.com (recently named Adobe Site of the Day), Fruit2O.com, and HunterDouglas.com. Anderson brings to the group a rich background in creative leadership, brand marketing, website development, digital production, online advertising, copywriting, and integrated campaign development.
Prior to joining Enlighten, Anderson held creative director and associate creative director roles at Leo Burnett/Publicis shops that include Arc Worldwide and iLeo. In over a decade working with digital media, he has helped to elevate the popularity and quality of digital content and produced countless award-winning projects. In addition to co-founding the Arc Rich Media Group and managing its work for McDonald's, Hallmark, Blackberry, and Cadillac, he led in the creation of Diageo's popular thebar.com viral application, serving as both digital and brand creative director for the account.
