Penrith, Cumbria (PRWEB) July 21, 2009
Country clothing retailer John Norris are delighted to announce the launch of a brand new website, in partnership with clothing manufacturers Barbour.
Designed and developed by Liverpool agency Rippleffect, Barboursporting.co.uk is set to showcase an exclusive range of Barbour clothing, including their trademark wax jackets, tweed jackets, trousers, sweaters and other accessories. Designed in collaboration with top-shot Lord James Percy, the Barbour Sporting collection has been described as practical, durable and totally fit for purpose.
By appointment to Her Majesty the Queen no less, the Barbour brand has been synonymous with fine country living and the hallmark of rugged dependability for over a century. Despite this, it has never been considered the most trendy or fashionable of labels. In recent times, however, this has all changed, with Barbour jackets becoming an unlikely favourite for fashionistas such as Sienna Miller and Kate Moss.
This has sparked heightened demand for Barbour clothing, interest which the new Barbour Sporting site aims to capitalise on. In particular, John Norris is anticipating demand for Barbour's Dunmoor fleece and the Linhope and Crossfell jackets.
John Norris have been leading suppliers of the Barbour range for many years and they have used this established relationship to help create a new portal, to run alongside their existing website. They not only sell country clothing, but also a wide range of fishing, hunting and shooting equipment, using decades of experience to offer the very best products and expert advice. Based in Penrith, Cumbria, their showroom is open to the public 7 days a week.
A spokesperson for John Norris commented on the new website by saying:
"Barbour, though an elite brand is finding that their products are attaining a wider following amongst a diverse audience and this is a demographic which this new site is looking to target."
"Barboursporting.co.uk represents the strong and well-established working relationship between ourselves and Barbour Sporting, and a synergy between the two brands. We are extremely proud to have been chosen to work with Barbour Sporting on this project and are committed to making it a big success."
