The US Department of the Interior Embarks on an Internet Development Campaign with Help from Blue Water Media

The Department of the Interior Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has started working with Washington D.C. web design firm, Blue Water Media, to update and improve their website and develop their overall internet presence. Blue Water Media will provide a comprehensive set of recommendations for the OIG including interactive website design and development, ongoing site maintenance and support, and search engine optimization. The campaign is scheduled to run from July-October 2009.

The web-optimization process will begin with a needs assessment to identify objectives, evaluate existing program assets, and develop an implementation strategy. Once a basic layout has been decided upon, various physical features of the website will be altered to give users the best possible visual experience.
