Photo Pros will join AMC at Comic-Con 2009 July 22-26 in San Diego to promote the highly anticipated mini-series "The Prisoner."

Wanting to connect "The Prisoner" program themes to their Comic-Com 2009 convention booth experience, AMC approached Photo Pros to create photo ID cards for their Comic-Con guests. Photo Pros was selected because of their proven track record of providing high-quality, high-speed onsite prints on a large scale.

Attendees at the AMC booth will obtain a "Village" identification card with only their face and a number printed on it. The photo ID cards will then serve as an entry into "The Prisoner" Twitter Sweepstakes. Palm ® Pre™ models loaded with "The Prisoner" content will be given away throughout the four-day convention.

The Photo Pros team will produce thousands of plastic photo cards at the AMC booth with a turn-around of two full-color, double-sided cards printed every minute. Photo Pros founder Robert Duron elaborates:

"While we're creating a unique marketing opportunity for AMC at Comic-Con with the onsite printing of ID cards, these cards can also be utilized in a multitude of ways for a variety of marketing purposes. In addition to ID badges, these durable cards can also serve as business cards, wallet photos, announcements, invitations, or 'save-the-date' reminders that won't bend, fade or break."

In addition to obtaining photo ID cards, attendees of the AMC booth will have the opportunity to preview the series and meet the stars of the show scheduled to appear in a panel discussion on Friday, July 24th at 11:30am. Actors Jim Caviezel (The Passion of The Christ, The Thin Red Line, Pay It Forward), Jamie Campbell-Bower (Sweeney Todd, The Twilight Saga: New Moon) and Lennie James (Jericho) will be joined by writer Bill Gallagher (Conviction, Clocking Off), AMC’s vice president of production Vlad Wolynetz, and producer/director Robert Meyer Burnett.

Based on the 1960s series created by and starring Patrick McGoohan, AMC's remake of "The Prisoner" premieres in November.

Photo Pros founder Duron has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial and event photography industries. Photo Pros' professional portfolio includes events at the San Diego Padres PETCO Park, the Rose Bowl, Bloomingdales and the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific, as well as photography work for such magazines as ELLE, GQ, and Shape.
