Integrators are becoming dealers because they can seriously differentiate themselves by being the first to offer Virtual Doorman in their respective markets. New York, NY (PRWEB) July 24, 2009
New York City-based Virtual Service, creator of Virtual Doorman (VDM), the pioneer and leading provider of high-tech electronic/remote doorman services, is pleased to announce the roll-out of its new Authorized Dealer network, enabling qualified security systems integrators and home automation providers to sell, install and service Virtual Doorman systems in exclusive territories in the United States and Canada.
Until now, sales and installations of Virtual Doorman systems were primarily handled by Virtual Service and were focused on small to medium-sized multi-family properties in the New York Tri-State Area. The rollout of the Authorized Dealer program enables Virtual Service to bring its unique Virtual Doorman system and services to buildings throughout the US and Canada.
"The program offers dealers a great opportunity to grow their businesses by adding revenues not only from sales of Virtual Doorman equipment, but also from the generous monthly recurring revenues paid on their customers' remote Virtual Doorman monitoring service that is the centerpiece of the system," said Colin Foster, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Virtual Doorman.
In 2000, Virtual Service introduced an entirely new industry when it launched the first remote doorman system which revolutionized the real estate and building security industries. Designed to remotely secure the building, greet visitors and provide access, and much more, Virtual Doorman provides increased convenience, heightened security and peace of mind - all at a fraction of the cost of a traditional doorman.
Since the recent launch of Virtual Doorman Generation 3, with its simplified hardware and software platforms that are intuitive and easy to install, Virtual Doorman is uniquely positioned to offer dealers an "out of the box" solution for their customers. Systems sold by dealers will be connected to the Virtual Doorman Command Center enabling dealers' customers to enjoy the same exceptional quality of service provided by an experienced Virtual Doorman.
New partnerships offering intercommunication with equipment from video intercom companies such as Aiphone, as well as the new, streamlined hardware and software, mean that Virtual Doorman can be easily integrated by dealers into a building's intercom system at any time while still giving the appearance of being original to the system, making it ideal for existing buildings as well as new developments.
Sales territories in specific markets will be assigned to qualified dealers on a first-come, first-served basis. Upon application and successful completion of the Virtual Doorman sales and technical training in New York, dealers will become certified.
Why become a dealer? According to Mr. Foster, "Integrators are becoming dealers because they can seriously differentiate themselves by being the first to offer Virtual Doorman in their respective markets. It was created for use in exclusive, high-end properties, and the product has a cach4hat immediately resonates not only with residents, but also with developers, building owners and management companies."
"Virtual Doorman was the pioneer in the remote/electronic doorman industry and is the recognized leader. To reflect that, our roll-out will limit the number of dealers qualified to offer Virtual Doorman in each market," added Foster.
About Virtual Doorman
Virtual Doorman was first introduced in 2000 by Virtual Service, a New York City based provider of interactive video security, video monitoring and alarm systems. It was the first remote doorman system created to provide the same services of a traditional doorman but at a fraction of the cost.
Virtual Doorman is the only remote doorman service to offer a Web-based information management system (Web Portal) that streamlines communication between residents, management and Virtual Doorman. The latest version of the Web Portal, launched earlier this month, further enhances the functionality and uniqueness of Virtual Doorman by offering tenants added account management features and streamlined communication with the command center and their building management.
The company is headquartered at 104 West 40th Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY and can be reached at 212-400-6000, or on the web at http://www.virtualdoorman.com.
