(PRWEB) July 25, 2009
Led by comedian co-hosts Dave Hughes and Charlie Pickering, The 7PM Project will be the simplest new idea in television for a long time.
The news of the day will be brought to audiences by newshound Carrie Bickmore. Carrie is best known for the 'Carrie At The News Desk' segment on Rove. While working on Rove, Carrie kept her day job as Newsreader and Assistant News Director at Nova 100 in Melbourne and will be putting those skills to use on The 7PM Project.
The 7PM Project Correspondents
The 7PM Project will have a team of correspondents delivering stories from around Australia and around the world into the The 7PM Project's studio every night.
MTV's uber 'IT' girl Ruby Rose will be bringing viewers all the latest music news with a fresh take on entertainment from around the world. The media and sport beat will be covered by TV's most acclaimed man of leisure, James Mathison. More names will be announced over the coming weeks.
The 7PM Project is a place where people who are genuinely interested in the world around them come together to talk, offering genuine conversation in a space previously crowded by scandal and spin.
The 7PM Project is highly interactive
The 7PM Project website will be central to much of the content on the show. The 7PM Project's bold, irreverent and thought-provoking nature will also be reflected online with much of the content of the show being sourced from the "Be Part Of The Show" section on the website. Viewers will be able to send in their Skype details, their comments and even photos and videos on related topics discussed in-program. The 7PM Project will regularly call viewers via Skype and be featured (via webcam) on air.
About The 7PM Project
The 7PM Project is the news un-spun. It is not a satirical newscast in the style of Jon Stewart's Daily Show, but a TV show joining in the conversations going on in living rooms around the country.
