Live, interactive webcasts will examine areas of opportunity as identified by top executives around the globe.

In the wake of the worst global economic and financial crisis in recent history, Ernst & Young LLP announces the first in a series of live, interactive webcasts that will examine the areas of opportunity identified by executives in the firm's "Opportunities in Adversity" survey.

Scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. EST, this survey, which was based on surveys conducted in January 2009 and again in June 2009 with more than 500 C-suite and board level executives at leading global companies, was published to provide a basis for discussion with executives as they grapple with the implications of the economic downturn.

The first webcast entitled "Securing Your Present" will focus on key priorities for cash preservation and generation - top items on corporate agendas today. In this webcast, panelists will discuss how companies seeking to strengthen their balance sheets and maximize flexibility and strategic options in the current environment are actively seeking out ways to release cash.
