No More Good-Byes: What the Bible Says about Winning in Grief

Connected To The Father, a Christian publishing company located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has launched JoyWillCome.com, an innovative online site dedicated to helping those undergoing grief, loss and/or major life-altering changes.

JoyWillCome.com is a free online community where users learn about grief, healing and joy from a biblical perspective. The community's blogging and journal-writing resources provide a platform where the grieving can ask questions, share comments and assist others who are mourning over severe loss. Experts and professional counselors answer questions about grief, healing, death and God, and teach community members how to console the grieving.

"Anger towards God, believe it or not, is one of the chief obstacles to the healing process," says the site's founder, Ruby L. Taylor, a social worker and author who specializes in assisting those going through prolonged mourning. "Most people find the loss itself to be so far beyond their concept of justice that their grief is insoluble until they deal with the issue of anger. Grief and loss give rise to questions such as: 'Should I be mad at God? Can I be mad at God? Why did God take our loved one so soon?' Some questions will never be answered, but many vital answers can be found at my new site, JoyWillCome.com."

Ms. Taylor is no stranger to the pain of loss. The murder of her brother Daniel immediately after her fourteenth birthday became the primary impetus for her lifelong quest to understand the mourning process. From that moment on, her concern was not only for herself but for those whose lives have been seriously wounded by sudden loss or major life changes. In addressing these concerns, she discovered not only inner strength, but her life's work as well.

Ruby Taylor utilized what she learned from her own grieving process as a springboard for helping others. She graduated from Virginia Union University with a Bachelor's in Social Work and received her Masters of Social Work from Howard University School of Social Work in 2001.

Ms. Taylor created JoyWillCome.com and wrote her recently published book, "No More Good-Byes: What the Bible Says about Winning in Grief" as resources for grieving believers. Her first book, "Aunt Ruby, Do I Look Like God?" also published by Connected To The Father, was released in 2004. For more information, go to http://www.JoyWillCome.com or contact Ruby Taylor.
