Nightshift Wedding Band were established in 2004, and rapidly became one of the most popular wedding bands in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Their popularity, and their focus on the wedding market, sometimes causes them a backlog in giving new clients an opportunity to view them in action - as lead singer Tracey Braithwaite explains. "Although we have lots of video material available on our website, customers sometimes want to see us in action at a real wedding, which isn't always immediately possible. So, the opportunity to play a public gig at the same time as supporting live music in Glasgow is brilliant". Tracey, whose previous credits include backing vocals for KT Tunstall, has fronted the band since 2007. Co-founder and bassist Stewart McEwan, who enjoyed a two year spell on bass with Glasgow party legends Big Vern 'n' the Shootahs adds, "full marks to The Shed for putting on live music in a club environment - we've played a number of times in Jools Holland's Jamhouse in Edinburgh and you can't beat a full on crowd out for a party!".

Nightshift, with their 3-piece horn section "The BigNiteOut Horns" will be at The Shed, 26 Langside Avenue, Glasgow, G41 2QS, from 19:30 on the 10th of September. Tickets (available from Tickets-Scotland) include support act Maria Doherty and entry to the club at the end of the live music. http://www.shedglasgow.co.uk/tribute3.html
