The Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) has announced speakers, for its 2009 Annual Convention in Boston, Massachusetts, August 8-12. Attendees will have access to over 50 workshops designed to provide valuable insight on topics ranging from accounting and audit implications, to soft skills and the current economic conditions. Four different panel discussions will focus on the topics of "Challenges Women Face in Corporate America," "Managing a Winning Public Image," "The Role of Leading Higher Education Institutions in Enabling the Latino Population to Integrate into the Workforce," and "How to Position Ourselves for Success Over the Next Three Years."

Sara Suarez, news director and anchor at WUNI TV/Univison will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies at the Annual Awards Gala where ALPFA will recognize six members for their talent and outstanding contributions to the organization.
