The Staffing Institute is near and dear to my heart
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) July 30, 2009
Arbita, a leading provider of recruitment marketing technology, media and services, today announced they have acquired The Staffing Institute, a nonprofit organization with a mission to help companies optimize their staffing performance by providing them with best-practice information and resources. Arbita will invest additional resources on an ongoing basis to ensure the continuance of that mission.
"Arbita’s commitment to the staffing profession and ability to optimize the potential of The Staffing Institute are second to none," said Nick Burkholder, Trustee and Founder of The Staffing Institute. "Not only does Arbita occupy a unique position in the marketplace which gives them the resources to successfully execute on this acquisition, they also have the vision, compassion and knowhow to understand the important role recruiters and recruiting plays in an organization and what is needed to continually increase performance. I couldn’t be happier for the profession."
Arbita will incorporate The Staffing Institute within Arbita Consulting and Education Services (ACES). ACES provides a wide range of services to staffing professionals, including workshops, self-help products, recruiter and sourcer development, and consulting. The Staffing Institute acquisition will bolster the group’s expansive knowledge base of best-practice information and resources. Furthermore, the acquisition will provide ACES with additional conceptual models for metrics and benchmarking, and provide the group with access to new tools and techniques for measuring and managing staffing performance.
"The Staffing Institute is near and dear to my heart," said Don Ramer, Founder and CEO, Arbita. "Here is an organization with pure motivations; they exist only to create value for the staffing community. Ours is a natural merger based on the mutual desire to provide guidance and support to our staffing colleagues. It is indeed an honor and an important responsibility to continue the Institute’s mission."
