ZettaServe Wins Federal Government Contract Awarded by NOPSA

Statutory agency NOPSA has chosen ZettaServe to manage its complete ICT infrastructure, hosting and communications services until 2014. Among other factors, ZettaServe demonstrated managerial and technical capabilities, an understanding of small government organisational needs and a proven track record of similar services which made them NOPSA's first choice.

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) service provider ZettaServe has been awarded a five (5) year contract by the National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority (NOPSA) to provide complete end-to-end managed ICT infrastructure services. This is ZettaServe's largest Federal Government contract to date and encompasses complete end-to-end managed ICT infrastructure, hosting and communications services for NOPSA's East and West Coast offices until 2014.

NOPSA's selection of ZettaServe was influenced by demonstration of the following elements:

  • The management's capability to meet NOPSA's requirements, supported by established processes and methodologies;
  • The technical capability to deliver the required services, using the right level of resources and expertise;
  • Proven ability to effectively transition from the current arrangement;
  • Proven track record in the provision of similar services, with outstanding references from existing clients.

In addition to this new five-year Federal Government contract, ZettaServe continues to deliver managed ICT services to other Government agencies such as the Department of Housing, Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF), Department of Planning and Infrastructure (DPI), Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC), and Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP). Top private sector organizations including Woodside Energy, BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Deloitte, National Bank of Australian (NAB), Orica, Goodman Fielder, CBH, CSC, and Unisys are also active clients of ZettaServe.

The National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority (NOPSA) is the occupational health and safety (OHS) regulator for the Australian offshore petroleum industry. NOPSA is a Commonwealth statutory agency that regulates under the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2006 in Commonwealth waters and equivalent OHS legislation in designated coastal waters of the States and Northern Territory.
