Mortgage Protection Payment Program from United-Bilt Homes Helps Buyers If They Lose Their Job

A new program from United-Bilt Homes, the leader in on-your-land residential construction, is making it easier for potential homebuyers to make a purchasing decision by offering a Mortgage Payment Protection Program that will make their payments for up to six months. In addition, UBH offers zero down and 100 percent financing. For more information, visit www.ubh.com.

Shreveport, LA (PRWEB) August 1, 2009 -- Purchasing a home is the most significant financial decision most people make in a lifetime. Little wonder, then, that in uncertain economic times some homebuyers may think twice before making such an investment because they don't know whether they will have a job if the economy falters. United-Bilt Homes (www.ubh.com) is helping to minimize that uncertainty by offering a program that will pay up to $1,800 of a UBH homebuyer's mortgage for up to six months.

"United-Bilt Homes understands the time and investment that goes into the decision to purchase a home, which is why it's our goal to help you build your home -- and keep it too," President Donald R. Pitts said. "With our Mortgage Payment Protection Program, you are protected against financial crisis brought on by involuntary loss of employment."

The program offered by UBH provides mortgage payment coverage for the first 24 months of the loan. www.ubh.com

"Shortly after you move into your new home, a packet will arrive that explains the unemployment insurance and how to file a claim in the event of an involuntary job loss," Pitts said.

The two-year program starts from the date of completion and will cover mortgage payments up to $1,800 per month for a maximum of six months.

Other benefits from the program include consultative communication, starting with an introductory phone call, followed by six months of phone contact and two years of monthly financial education to help homeowners make timely mortgage payments and give them tools to maintain financial wellness.

The program is underwritten by one of the industry's top insurance companies.

Eligibility requirements include:

  • Must be employed full time;

  • Cannot be self-employed or an independent contractor; and

  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 66.
