Since founding Kraft Enterprises in 1993, Kraft has served as investor, advisor and board member to a number of technology service firms. Prior to this, Kraft retired from the Leo Burnett Company after nearly 20 years of service as Vice-Chairman and COO. During his time there, Kraft contributed to the development, management and growth of the renowned agency. At retirement he was a member of the Executive Committee, a board member and chair of the Finance Committee for the company.

Kraft has participated in the development of a number of Internet-related firms, including founding and advising Two-Way Communications and advising and taking a principle role at Modem Media, two companies which provide Internet marketing services. He continues to consult on growth, management and structure for numerous local companies.

In addition to Kraft's noteworthy professional engagements, he also has been active in the DePaul University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences as well as the Kellogg School of Management's Entrepreneurship & Innovation program and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
