The national law firm of Outten & Golden LLP is pleased to announce that partner Tammy Marzigliano has been appointed Chair-Elect of the Employment Rights Section of the American Association for Justice ("AAJ") (formerly Association of Trial Lawyers of America). AAJ is the world's largest trial bar association. Its mission is to promote justice and fairness for injured persons, safeguard victims' rights--particularly the right to trial by jury--and strengthen the civil justice system through education and disclosure of information critical to public health and safety.
Wayne Outten, O&G's managing partner, commented that Ms. Marzigliano is a natural choice for the position, given her demonstrated leadership abilities, her excellent skills, knowledge, and experience as a lawyer for employees, and her passion for promoting justice and fairness in the workplace.
Tammy Marzigliano represents employees in litigation and negotiation in all areas of employment law, including individual discrimination cases, sexual harassment cases, employment contracts, and wage-and-hour class actions. Ms. Marzigliano is the Co-Chair of O&G's Sexual Harassment Practice Group.
Ms. Marzigliano is also a frequent panelist on employment law matters. She regularly collaborates with non-profit women's advocacy organizations on the education regarding sexual harassment in the workplace. She has recently launched an educational website on sexual harassment to help individuals understand and identify the issues involved with sexual harassment in workplace.
Ms. Marzigliano practices at the firm's office in New York City. She is admitted to the state and federal bars of New York and Connecticut.
