Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) August 3, 2009
Sunbelt Software, a leading provider of Windows security software, today announced that its CEO Alex Eckelberry will participate in a cybersecurity panel discussion at the upcoming Pacific Crest Technology Leadership Forum. The 11th annual forum will take place August 9th-11th, 2009 at the Sonnenalp Resort in Vail, Colorado.
The cybersecurity panel will focus on the Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative (CNCI) - a comprehensive, multiyear program to secure U.S. public and private networks and re-establish U.S. dominance in cyberspace. Sunbelt was invited to participate in part because of its prominence as a provider of security research products and services to multiple government agencies. As a result of recently enacted cybersecurity initiatives, the government is expected to spend upwards of $30 billion over the next five years to secure government networks and systems. The panel session will examine the technology and economic impact of this effort on public and private organizations including investors and security vendors.
