It's so frustrating to see home improvement failures because someone didn't use the right tools or have the right information.

"With a lot of construction, there's just a lack of things that are put together in the proper manner," said Craig Emmert. "It's so frustrating to see home improvement failures because someone didn't use the right tools or have the right information."
In order to share his expertise with others, and promote home improvement done right, Emmert launched his new website at http://www.My-DIY.net. The website will promote do-it-yourself home improvement anchored by Emmert's experience as a contractor and builder.
"When it comes to home improvement, there are three basic requirements for a successful project: make it look good, make sure it works as intended and make sure it will last," said Emmert.
Emmert developed his simple but effective approach to home improvement following decades of work in construction.
"I've worked in coastal areas for a long time, and have seen how salt and moisture can affect the exterior and interior of a home," said Emmert. "Because I've worked under the harshest conditions, I understand what it takes to get the job done right."
With the launch of a new blog at http://www.My-DIY-Blog.com, Emmert will provide information for a number of standard and advanced home improvement topics. "I can teach people how to hang a door or how to renovate their kitchen," said Emmert. "There's little I haven't done before."
Emmert asserts that there are few surprises in home improvement, and making something work is as simple as following the instructions. "There are no ghosts in construction; nothing happens without a reason, so if we look at a problem for long enough, we can discover the cause," said Emmert. "Do-it-yourself home improvement is all about recognizing the problem and finding the solution."
When it comes to home improvement, Emmert lives by the words of Albert Einstein, who once said "the value of a man resides in what he gives and not what he is capable of receiving." Following Einstein's example, Emmert uses his experience and knowledge to give back to others.
With his "can do" approach to home improvement, homeowners will love partnering with Emmert to tackle projects around the house. "With do-it-yourself home improvement, people can save their hard earned money, and get the satisfaction of a job well done."
