WebWorks ePublisher 2009.2 Release adds support for FrameMaker 9 and Confluence Wiki

We have previously supported output to MediaWiki and MoinMoin wiki formats, a brand of Quadralay Corporation, the leading developer of content conversion and deployment solutions for single and multi-source delivery of online content, today announced the much anticipated Summer 2009 release of its industry-leading ePublisher platform.

With the release of WebWorks ePublisher 2009.2 content developers can now automate the publication and deployment of their information to the industry leading Confluence wiki format. As Tony McDow, CEO of Quadralay Corporation points out, "this new capability will allow numerous companies and organizations to overcome the barrier of how to populate a new wiki installation with existing information that might previously have stayed locked in legacy authoring systems. Using ePublisher will speed the implementation and adoption process for any company looking to leverage the collaboration inherent in moving to a wiki platform for knowledge sharing."

"We have previously supported output to MediaWiki and MoinMoin wiki formats," noted McDow, "but the addition of support for the Confluence wiki brings the power of ePublisher's agile publishing workflow to the largest user base in the corporate wiki market."

ePublisher 2009.2 also adds FrameMaker 9 to the list of supported authoring environments, allowing users of the latest version of Adobe's technical writing tool to leverage the unparalleled multi-channel publishing power available through the WebWorks product. ePublisher now supports all versions of FrameMaker from version 6 upwards as well as input from Microsoft Word (up to and including Word 2007), and any DITA-XML compliant editor.

These latest additions make WebWorks ePublisher the most powerful, fully featured and flexible publishing platform on the market for converting and deploying content for online delivery.

Existing WebWorks customers with active maintenance or subscription contracts will be automatically shipped a copy of ePublisher 2009.2 at no additional cost.
