The years of continuous research, experiments and trials have given Centre for Jatropha Promotion & Biodiesel (CJP) a big breakthrough in the search for a viable alternative feedstock for biodiesel in combination with Jatropha in December 2007. After having a number of successful field trials, CJP is now happy to announce the much awaited commercial release of Couple oil crop cultivation (COC) technology.

Now we can ensure an oil yield of 1200-1350 gallon per ha i.e. same acreage of land without any extra input cost on maturity. The technology termed as COC is released commercially. The inaugural offer is open up to October 31, 2009.

CJP is dedicated to the development of oil seed bearing trees (OSBT) - non-food multiple vegetable oil plantation and technologies in order to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, bring greater control and security of fuel supply and reduce dangerous climate changing emissions, including CO2. CJP's Jatropha and other non-food oil crop plantation program. With an effort to 'grow beyond oil ', apart from Jatropha, CJP has identified, developed and cultivated as many as 12 oil seed bearing trees (OSBT) and non-food oil crops. With years of continuing research, experiments and trials has provided an adage to find and develop 2nd generation biodiesel feedstock with low cost input technology.

The Director Plant Science CJP Mr. R.R. Sharma has stated that, "Jatropha plantation occupy about 50% of the planted land and to utilized the rest of land in sustainable manner we have been experimenting different intercropping options, patterns and agro- technologies. We have been in search of such an inter-crop for Jatropha which should be oil bearing like Jatropha itself without competing with it for food and water and should be capable of fulfilling Jatropha fertilizer requirement and still maintaining soil fertility. Emergence of the combination crop system may change the entire scenario of the biodiesel industry and shall provide much relief to the industry which desperately in a need of a viable sustainable non-food feed stocks."

Mr. Sharma further added that, "Now we can ensure an oil yield of 1200-1350 gallon per ha i.e. same acreage of land without any extra input cost on maturity. The technology termed as COC is released commercially. The inaugural offer is open up to October 31, 2009."

About Centre for Jatropha Promotion & Biodiesel (CJP)
Centre for Jatropha Promotion & Biodiesel (CJP) India is the Global authority for scientific commercialization of Jatropha fuel crop.
The CJP is only the premier organization that arranges the unique training for all stakeholders to provide them the opportunity to understand, learn, act and implement the Jatropha plans from ground zero to Biodiesel production in a very successful manner.

CJP is dedicated to the development of oil seed bearing trees (OSBT) - non-food multiple vegetable oil plantation and technologies in order to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, bring greater control and security of fuel supply and reduce dangerous climate changing emissions, including CO2.

CJP is pioneering the science, planting and production of inedible vegetable oils by planting of a variety of tree & non-food crop plantation.

CJP is engaged in scientific commercialization of non-food fuel crop- that designs and implements the growing of various oil seed bearing tree (OSBT) crops worldwide in a structured Agri-Supply chain, Value additions of inedible oil seeds and research activities thereon & provides support/services from "Soil to Oil" for development and establishment of the non -food Bio-fuel crops.

CJP use its proprietary knowledge to implement programmes through its expertise, technology and IPR knowledge creating new industry and job creation and the offsetting of climate change.
