TopNotch® Records Pop Rock recording artist Whitney Wolanin (WHOA- Lan- in) has her song "So Close" from her mini album "Girl.", at #36 on the radio chart. "Girl.", contains songs about everything from break ups to mean girls to the heartbreak of loving your platonic best friend. All of the songs were created from her personal experience, but they're not exclusive to her. Whitney's hope in penning her songs is that every "Girl.", can rock out to the music and relate to the lyrics as if they wrote them themselves.
Whitney Wolanin, the powerhouse singer- songwriter- pianist from Florida will spend her first week of August in Los Angeles, California where she will perform twice on a nationally televised (MLB) major league baseball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves, on Friday August 7 at Dodgers Stadium. At this nationally broadcast Dodgers game Whitney Wolanin will perform at the beginning of the game and at the seventh inning stretch accompanied by renowned stadium organist Nancy Bea.
On August 6 Whitney Wolanin will also perform at a WNBA game between the Los Angeles Sparks and Seattle Storm at Staples Center. The first 2,000 fans entering Stapes Center that night will receive a FREE download card good for the Whitney Wolanin song "Sunglasses" courtesy of TopNotch® Records. "Sunglasses" was recently featured at the Harry Potter Movie at movie theaters around the US and was heard by more than 2 million fans.
Whitney is arriving in Los Angeles from a RADIO tour of Canada, Alaska and Iceland where she appeared at the 20th anniversary of Hits FM on the NOVA European Music TV Network.
