With TraumaCad Touch and OrthoWeb, we look forward to providing an entirely new workflow capability for busy surgeons everywhere. We are proud to be BrainLAB's partner, and I, personally, can't wait to see how we will keep raising the bar in the future.

Orthocrat, Ltd. and BrainLAB, AG, announced a strategic worldwide partnership, and simultaneously announced the release of two products which will allow orthopedic surgeons to seamlessly link their cases with BrainLAB's Digital Lightbox©, a large multi-touch display that allows surgeons and physicians to instantly access and manipulate digital medical data.
TraumaCad Touch, a multi-touch version of Orthocrat's industry-leading TraumaCad templating solution, allows an orthopedic surgeon to perform digital templating on the Digital Lightbox. Complete web-based integration with OrthoWeb will further allow the surgeon to access their cases anywhere, providing unparalleled ease of access and seamless templating capabilities.
Michael Swank, M.D., president of the Cincinnati Orthopedic Research Institute and the medical director of the Joint Replacement Center at The Jewish Hospital and of the Freiberg Spine Institute, had an emphatic response when asked about his reaction to this new set of solutions: "For too long, I have had to separately manage my patients' images, based on whether the images were taken at our clinic locations, at the hospital, or elsewhere. The logistics for getting these various images into the operating suite is quite complicated. With Digital Lightbox, I have a surgeon-friendly method of accessing my images and adjusting the presurgical plan. And with OrthoWeb, I now have a way to smoothly access my images from anywhere."
Marc Mackey, Global Product Line Director for orthopedics at BrainLAB, says, "We evaluated multiple templating solutions and selected Orthocrat to be our partner for Digital Lightbox because of their culture of innovation, class leading portfolio of products, and unique web capabilities. Orthocrat has delivered an outstanding digital templating and web data access product for Digital Lightbox. When coupled with the video routing, surgical navigation, and patient image access capabilities, Digital Lightbox is an extremely compelling option for the orthopedist. We look forward to Digital Lightbox establishing a new standard in the operating suite for orthopedic surgeons worldwide."
Zeev Glozman, Orthocrat's CEO, comments: "With TraumaCad Touch and OrthoWeb, we look forward to providing an entirely new workflow capability for busy surgeons everywhere. We are proud to be BrainLAB's partner, and I, personally, can't wait to see how we will keep raising the bar in the future."
Orthocrat has a simple mission: To dramatically improve the orthopedic surgeon's workflow, so that more time can be spent with patients. TraumaCad, our flagship product, is installed at over 1,000 locations in ten countries, including hospitals, clinics and academic institutions. OrthoFlow, our workflow solution, is already proving that a busy surgeon can expect to get rid of an hour of repetitive drudgery each day, and spend that time with patients instead. OrthoWeb eliminates all location-based boundaries for surgeons.
