Hitt Music Group celebrates a recession-proof, banner year nearly tripling its placement returns, increasing its online presence and securing participation at the upcoming NAMM festival.

While companies nationwide continue to cut corners to save costs, Hitt Music Group has exceeded its mid-year expectations thanks to a number of positive developments and higher-than-expected returns resulting in a 70% increase from the company's original estimate resulting in unbridled success for many of HMG's artists.

HMG artists have found success in a variety of forms thanks to the company's continued growth in the industry. Fools and Horses broke a personal record as they signed 30 placement deals so far this year. California-based Nothing Ever Stays secured two feature film deals while Dance/Bollywood artist Tina Sugandh broke into the Billboard Charts once again. Rapper Mike West made 954 and Juice Entertainment magazine's feature spreads.

2009 is also the year where HMG expanded its online presence through various social media networks including twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Liinkedin, Blogger, Perfspot and others. The added exposure led to a record-setting 500 radio placements for the year (and counting!).

The company also secured a deal with NAMM, the International Music Product's Association, which has signed five HMG artists to perform at the 2010 trade show. Preparations are also underway for next year's SXSW festival.

Hitt Music Group is the leading, independent promotion and placement agency in Southern California. Founded in 2006, HMG offers independent artists with the resources necessary to connect with top industry executives and provides services ranging from radio and concert promotions to TV, film and video game placements.
