Brand Thunder LLC (http://www.brandthunder.com), the custom browser specialists, announced today that it is growing its international presence with three new channel partners in Asia: Hotmedia, Sportingmindz and online media consultant Kevin Jacobs. This is in addition to the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom where it currently operates.

Brand Thunder reworks the visual style of a browser theme to match the colors and logos of its partners while also adding content and functionality to the browser. The browser customizations provide marketers with a more persistent connection to their customer whenever they are connected to the Internet and regardless of the web page they are viewing. The company’s growing client list includes the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, the NBA’s Orlando Magic, the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins, Universal Music Group, NYC’s Hot97 Hip Hop and R&B radio station and more.

“We’ve already delivered our product in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom with great results,” said Patrick Murphy, founder and CEO of Brand Thunder. “We’re now positioning ourselves to capitalize on the global demand for custom browsers from major brands and their fans. Asia is our first step as we also look toward Latin and South America and more countries in Europe.”

Hotmedia in Hong Kong specializes in digital media and experiential marketing for Fortune 500 brands. SportingMindz in Bangalore, India, delivers technical solutions for the sporting industry. Kevin Jacobs is an online media consultant in the commercial and entertainment sectors in India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. The three companies join Brand Thunder’s current international distribution partners Adevia Software of Victoria, BC and KAM Sports International of London.

“Brand Thunder’s custom browsers combine the power of digital media and experiential marketing,” said Michael Cheng, Managing Director of Hotmedia. “They will be a powerful addition to our online initiatives.”

“We feel Brand Thunder’s custom browsers will complement our services and be of great value to the leagues, teams and fans we serve,” said Sanjay Rao, CEO of Sportingmindz.

“Customizing the browser will be a perfect complement to the other content and promotional initiatives I oversee,” said Kevin Jacobs.

Brand Thunder’s browser Booms are free, lightweight active customizations that can include themes, toolbars, sidebars and other content or functionality. With a Boom!, users can switch real-time between any of the browser looks they created without restarting their browser.
