FuelOnly, Inc, a leading fuel research and testing laboratory, appoints new president.

FuelOnly Inc. announced today that during its quarterly board meeting last month in Honolulu, HI, its board of directors appointed Mark Artalejo as President of FuelOnly, Inc., effective August 1, 2009. Prior to his position as president, Mr. Artalejo served as General Manager of FuelOnly.

"I'm honored to have this opportunity," said Mr. Artalejo. "The last several years have been very exciting being part of FuelOnly's journey to become the nation's premier fuel research and testing laboratory."

Mr. Artalejo has played a key role in FuelOnly's journey. He's been instrumental in working to obtain ISO certification for the company, working with local and national educational programs for biofuels research, analysis and testing, and establishing industry testing protocols and resources for ensuring proper long-term storage of diesel fuels.

It is my goal to see that FuelOnly is setting the quality standard for the fluids testing industry. ISO certification is an essential part of this process," said Mr. Artalejo. "Plus, it assures FuelOnly customers that our services are properly documented to meet ISO standards and that we have all the "i's" dotted and "t's" crossed."

He further commented, "One of the most exciting new developments for FuelOnly is the upcoming rollout of our laboratory information and production technology system, which truly brings a new generation, one-of-a-kind laboratory work flow management system to the fluids testing industry. There is not another system in our industry like it. It will optimize FuelOnly's production capabilities multiple fold and provide our customers with a totally unique experience by allowing them to have full interaction with their samples throughout the analysis process. In addition, the new LIPTS system will enable FuelOnly to significantly reduce sample turn-around times and reduce required sample volumes by more than half, creating less waste for the customer, less sample to dispose of for FuelOnly, and an overall reduction of its carbon footprint on the environment. To ensure that our new LIPTS system remains up-to-date with emerging technologies and flexible to meet ever changing customer needs and requirements, FuelOnly has secured a long-term contract with the IT development firm that designed and built the system."

In his new role as President, Mr. Artalejo will continue to guide the company in defining and executing its strategic and technological goals to ensure the company remains the leader in the fuel testing industry.

Mr. Artalejo has a wide range of experience in the fuel research and testing industry. He holds a degree in chemistry. Prior to coming to FuelOnly, Mr. Artalejo worked as the laboratory manager at Staveley Services, Inc. in Reno, Nevada. Before working at Staveley, he spent several years working in laboratory management with Western Refining, a subsidiary of Chevron, and Kimberly Clark Pharmaceuticals.
