Pheonix, AZ (PRWEB) August 7, 2009
The Board of Directors of Arizona Central Credit Union has selected Todd A. Pearson as president/CEO of the $420 million financial institution. Pearson replaces Roland E. Livermon, Jr., who retired January 2009 after 12 years as the credit union's top executive.
"The Board is excited about the new vision and leadership Todd will bring as CEO," said John Ingram, Board Chairman. "After conducting an extensive nationwide search, with many highly-qualified candidates, we felt Todd was the best choice for leading our institution through these challenging economic times and preparing us for the growth the future will offer."
Pearson had been serving as interim CEO since Livermon's retirement. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President/Chief Operations Officer, overseeing branch services, lending, marketing, and business services. He has been with Arizona Central since 2002.
"I am truly excited about the opportunities here at Arizona Central," said Pearson. "We have a dedicated and talented group of employees and volunteers who are all committed to providing our members with a competitive menu of financial products through superior member service."
Prior to joining Arizona Central, Pearson worked for the Arizona Credit Union League and is a graduate of Arizona State University. Pearson is a native Arizonan and lives in the northwest Valley with his wife and two children.
