Within a very short time span, we completed 7 rounds of conversion tests, 3 rounds of parallel tests, and 97 business scenario tests that yielded zero errors, making the information look as if it had always been in the SAP HR system.

AspireHR, an SAP HR software, consulting, and SaaS company, is proud to announce the successful Go-Live of Phase 1 of their SAP HR initiative at Shire Pharmaceuticals.

With more than 3,500 employees worldwide and approximately 70% located in the U.S., Shire is a global specialty biopharmaceutical company with operations in more than 25 countries. Phase 1 of the initiative was customized to lower costs and increase efficiency by unifying the HR processes into a single solution that maximized efficiencies and eliminated rework while standardizing global business processes.

A team of 12 AspireHR consultants partnered with a team from Shire to implement SAP HR solutions including Organizational Management and Personal Administration modules, and paved the path for future phases of implementing ESS/MSS. These united modules achieved the desired end result that allows Shire to increase efficiency by removing dependency on outside consultants, creating a single method of data entry, and leveraging the global template thereby saving time, effort, and cost to streamline Shire’s HR and business processes on a global scale.

This Go-Live is the culmination of an eight month effort that combined the requirements, information, and knowledge transfer for 26 countries where Shire has operations. The new system converted 300,000+ pieces of historical legacy data.
