Tualitin, OR (PRWEB) August 10, 2009
Plasti-Fab, the manufacturer of world class composite solutions, has officially begun operations at their second location in Lakeland, Florida.
For 40 years now, Plasti-Fab has been developing innovative corrosion resistant equipment (http://www.plasti-fab.com/wastewater-products) out of their facility in Tualatin, Oregon. Over that time, the company has evolved and expanded their composites expertise into contract manufacturing (http://www.plasti-fab.com/contract-manufacturing) for industry applications and are a recognized visionary company for fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP). This evolution has allowed Plasti-Fab to bring their experience to new industries, products, and now a second location in Lakeland, Florida. Having a facility on the East Coast will significantly help Plasti-Fab distribute their world class products and services to the Eastern US in a more prolific fashion.
"We are all very excited about what this expansion means for our company, customers, and future customers," says Randy Thom, President of Plasti-Fab. The new Plasti-Fab East Team is comprised of 6 seasoned fiberglass and composite professionals. Larry Noland is leading the team as the operations manager and will be responsible for the day to day operations. Mary Ann Costanzo will serve as the office administrator. Lucio Gomez, Joel Nielsen, Mike Szymanski, and Omar Nunez complete the new Team as experienced fabricators who are excited for the new opportunities this expansion brings. "Larry and his team are a great addition to our family," continues Thom, "This is a win-win situation for everyone involved. Most importantly, it allows us to provide our composite solutions in a more efficient manor to the East coast and surrounding areas. From a shipping and logistics standpoint, this means saving money for our customers while maintaining the Plasti-Fab quality."
Plasti-Fab East will be building flumes, manholes, and custom industrial shelters, including a new Guardian Shelters Line that can be customized and bought online here: (http://industrialshelters.com/), as well as handling regional projects and contract manufacturing.
