Sephora celebrated the grand opening of 5 Times Square in New York with lots of glamour, glitz, and games. Making Manhattan a prettier place, the Sephora PRO Beauty Team staged themselves at Sephora Square (Father Duffy Square), where celebrities and Big Apple beauty buffs participated in setting TWO GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS®.
Talented PRO Team artist, Jerry Hutchinson, set the record for the Most Lipstick Applications by an Individual in One Hour after having completed 107 red lips, exceeding the goal of 60. The 100th pout to be perfected was of Adrienne Bailon, actress and singer-songwriter, who was on site to support the challenge, along with a later appearance by Taylor Momsen, star of hit series "Gossip Girl." The excitement continued with five fabulous PRO Team Members, including Hutchinson, setting the record for the Most Cosmetic Makeovers by a Team of Five in One Hour. With a goal of 60, the team successfully completed 85 faces in what seemed to be a flash.

"I set a personal goal of 90 and was thrilled when I surpassed that! I want to especially thank my fellow PRO team members, I couldn't have done it without their support and encouragement!"

To kick-off the day's activities, Alexandra and Theodora Richards, models and rock royalty, took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony at Sephora 5 Times Square. With festivities throughout the day at Sephora Square, makeup fans were also able to enjoy complimentary Express Services and additional competitions, including the By Lauren Luke and TEMPTU AIRbrush Revolution challenges.
