Frisco, Colo. (PRWEB) August 9, 2009
There's never a dull moment in the Town of Frisco and the 24th Annual Music on Main event on Aug. 22, 2009 is no exception. The combination of free live music, summer weather and beautiful mountain scenery will please music- and outdoor-lovers alike.
Mark your calendar for a performance by award-winning Cajun Blues-Man Tab Benoit on Frisco's historic Main Street. Former Allman Brothers singer-songwriter and Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame guitar legend, Dickey Betts, will be taking stage later that evening with his band Great Southern.
To give music lovers a voice in this year's Music on Main line-up, the Town of Frisco along with Channel 2 (The Deuce), will host the first Frisco "Music on Main Challenge." Three bands will perform on "News on The Deuce" at 7:00 p.m. on August 11, 13 and 14. Viewers can log-on to vote for their favorite band immediately after the final band's performance. The winning band will be announced on "News on the Deuce" at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009. The winning band will open for Tab Benoit and Dickey Betts at the Frisco Historic Park Gazebo on Aug. 22 at 3:30p.m.
