Champion Caden's Candid Causes Celebration

Great American Photo Contest, a free online baby photo contest that awards $2,500 to a new winner each month, has identified its latest champion: Caden Jackson Worley. Caden is the grandson of Carole Worley, a retired schoolteacher who found the Great American Photo Contest a joyous way to stay connected to her grandson and his adorable face. With the support of Caden's parents, her son Michael and daughter-in-law Renee`, Mrs. Worley encouraged her friends and family to vote everyday for her grandson. Mrs. Worley recently moved from near Douglasville, the Atlanta suburb where Caden and his immediate family currently reside, to spend her retirement in the Georgia Mountains, which is a two-hour drive from Douglasville. By participating in the Great American Photo Contest, Mrs. Worley felt as though she were no further from Caden than when she lived next-door.

Great American Photo Contest prides itself on bringing families closer together by allowing relatives stretched across the country to celebrate in the beauty of Great American's many babies. But, as always when Great American posts a winner, the rewards come in many forms. When Great American's CEO Joshua Gillon called Mrs. Worley to inform her that her hard work had paid off, and that she had won June's contest, Mrs. Worley nearly fainted with joy. "I went into a screaming fit," she recalls, laughing. "She was definitely a screamer," concurs Mr. Gillon, wearing the same elated expression that he does at the end of each month after he informs the latest winner of the great news. "It's a real treat to help families put away much-needed money for their babies so that they can have full and prosperous lives later on," Mr. Gillon continues. As it turns out, Mrs. Worley is depositing the $2,500 in a new savings account with Caden's name on it. Caden's father played football at Ole Miss, and his mother attended the University of Georgia. With this head start, Caden may one day be able to claim either as his alma mater.

Great American Photo Contest is opening its doors to many new contestants, touching families in new and different ways each day.
