Lucky Voice fans at The Big Sing

Lucky Voice hosted The Big Sing at The Big Chill Festival on Sunday 9th August. With lyrics projected onto huge screens by the Open Air stage, festival fans sang along to a string of karaoke classics, with suggestions from fans taken prior to the event via Twitter (using hashtag #LVBigSing) and a dedicated Big Sing webpage.

Following Norman Jay's traditional mid-afternoon set in the blazing sunshine, online karaoke site Lucky Voice Home entertained the crowd by playing singalong classics including Video Killed The Radio Star, It's Not Unusual and (I Wanna Be) 500 Miles (see bottom of release for Lucky Voice blog post with images & teaser video).

With Lucky Voice's stated intention being to "get everyone singing together", The Big Sing was a perfect demonstration of the feelgood power of crowd singing.

Lucky Voice's blog documented the Lucky Voice team's trip to The Big Chill, with the Lucky Voice Angels helping to lend a touch of pink to the event's proceedings. They also bumped into the odd star happy to show their love for the iconic Lucky Voice pink microphone, including Basement Jaxx, DJ Norman Jay and photographer Rankin (image files available).
