bmi, Britain's business airline, has changed its schedule on flights between Manchester and London for its winter timetable. The new schedule will see a new rotation added with more convenient flight times for customers making onward connections with bmi at Heathrow to key destinations within the Middle East, such as Beirut and Tel Aviv or with Star Alliance partners to the Far East. From October, customers can choose from seven daily flights including the new mid-morning flight service from Manchester to Heathrow, departing 10.50, and arriving in the capital at midday.
bmi's Managing Director, Peter Spencer said: "The new schedule between Manchester and Heathrow demonstrates our commitment to providing a more seamless service for our customers. The new rotation connects perfectly with our flights to Beirut and Tel Aviv at Heathrow making travel with bmi to the Middle East from Manchester smoother and quicker, while the schedule works well with our Star Alliance partners and their onward connections to the Far East. "
bmi also recently extended its complimentary Chauffeur Drive service to include UK regional airports, meaning customers travelling on selected Business Class fares from Manchester to Almaty, Amman, Azerbaijan, Beirut, Cairo, Damascus, Kyrgyzstan, Moscow, Saudi Arabia, Tel Aviv and Yerevan can now take advantage of this service to and from the airport at each end. The service is also available in the UK only for those travelling to Tehran and Tbilisi.
In addition to benefits including online check-in and Chauffeur Drive, customers can also take advantage of Diamond Club, the UK's most generous frequent flyer programme, and bmi's Company Rewards programme for SMEs (small and medium enterprises). Diamond Club destinations miles can be spent on flights with Star Alliance member airlines, hotel accommodation and on a range of gifts and treats.
bmi is the airline for business travellers offering an extensive UK and international network, with over 1,800 flights a week to more than 45 destinations worldwide. Along with the UK's most generous frequent flyer programme, Diamond Club, Business travellers with bmi can check-in online, use self check-in machines or priority check in areas and also have access to the bmi Business Lounge with a fast track through security.
