i-to-i Introduces "The Ultimate Blog for the Ultimate Adventure"

Those who want to win an ultimate trip to Tanzania, Costa Rica or Thailand should head for i-to-i's online travel community, Campfire, to write a blog post about what their ultimate adventure would entail.

Volunteer travel specialists i-to-i have today launched a fantastic new competition, which will see a member of the company's own online community, Campfire (http://www.i-to-i.com/campfire/), winning one of three incredible trips, just by describing what THEIR Ultimate adventure would entail in a blog post on Campfire.

In an interesting twist, i-to-i will not choose the winner of the 'Ultimate Blog for the Ultimate Adventure' competition (http://www.i-to-i.com/ultimate-blog.html). Instead, the travellers of Campfire will vote for the blog post they think describes the best trip. The six blogs with the most votes will be entered into a shortlist stage on October 5th, with members invited to vote again for their favourites before the winner is announced on 30th October.

Shameless tactics to get more votes, such as entrants asking their mums to sign up to the site to vote are allowed. What's more, entrants can easily use Campfire to publicise their entries on social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter to get their friends on those sites to vote for their blogs. Campfire travellers are also able to vote for as many entries as they want, meaning there's even more inducement for people to connect with others on Campfire in order for them to get more votes! Bloggers will also be helped in their efforts to get votes by a video from i-to-i describing the best ways to promote their blogs (http://www.i-to-i.com/campfire/i-to-i/videos/97).

Getting people to sign up to vote will certainly pay off: the writer of the blog post that attracts the most votes will then be able to pick which Ultimate i-to-i trip they want to go on: Ultimate Tanzania, Ultimate Costa Rica or Ultimate Thailand. They'll also win return flights, a camcorder and rucksack full of goodies to help them on their way.

Each trip tries to cram in the very best of each country, plus some volunteering to engage travellers with the communities they visit. If they pick Costa Rica, the winning blogger will be zip lining through magical cloud forests, building homes for underprivileged families and lounging on the spectacular black sands of the Caribbean coast.

Meanwhile, if they choose to go to Tanzania, they'll be trekking in the foothills of Kilimanjaro, wildlife spotting in the Selous Game reserve, volunteering with kids in Moshi and kicking back in the idyllic beach paradise of Zanzibar. While if they pick Thailand, they'll be thrust into the bustle of Bangkok, soothed by meditation and Thai massage and will also find time to lend a hand on a beach conservation project on the tropical island of Koh Tao.

Whichever incredible trip the winner chooses, they'll keep the users of Campfire who voted to get them there up to date on their adventures through a mixture of blogs, photos and videos - a consolation prize for those whose ultimate trips were just not quite ultimate enough!

Those wanting to enter this amazing competition should visit http://www.i-to-i.com/ultimate-blog.html. There's no need to already be a member of Campfire - new members are more than welcome to sign up in order to enter the competition. There's even a video of how to enter to get people started!
