Tennessee Orthopaedic Clinics Brings First Sports Medicine Specialist to Lenoir City

Dr. J. Chris Shaver will be the first full-time fellowship trained sports medicine specialist in Lenoir City, Loudon County. Dr. Shaver is trained in orthopaedic trauma and fellowship trained in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. Tennessee Orthopaedic Clinics is based out of Knoxville, Tenn., and consists of 24 orthopaedic surgeons offering care at nine locations throughout East Tennessee.

Dr. Shaver is trained in orthopaedic trauma, fellowship trained in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, and is a candidate member of both the Arthoscopy Association of North America and the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine. He will see patients full-time at TOC's Lenoir City location.

He has served as team physician for several universities and professional organizations.
