Conasys, a provider of web based customer service solutions to the construction industry, announces the launch of Maintenance Advisor, a new product feature of their Home Information Packages. New to the Canadian housing industry, Maintenance Advisor is an on-line service informing new homeowners about the required maintenance for their home through proactive email reminders of when maintenance is due as well as information on how to do it.
Maintenance Advisor is now part of the company's core offering, Home Information Packages, which the company sells to builders and developers nationally. When a builder provides a Home Information Package to a new home owner they will now receive an enhanced on-line service that enables them to register for proactive, action-oriented, email maintenance reminders. Homeowners can view their home-specific maintenance information including a schedule of maintenance duties as well as information about how to perform the individual maintenance actions. This service will help to ensure new home owners manage and protect their investment. More importantly, it will help the home owner be more compliant with their new home warranty program and product manufacturers' warranties, as maintenance usually has to be performed in order to obtain warranty coverage.

Warranty Resource is a web based library of all the information and documentation in a new home, accessible 24/7 online from any computer or smart-phone. Homeowners can find operating, maintenance and warranty documents for all products and components specific to their home, right down to items as small as light switches and paint chip colours. Accompanying these documents is a complete contact directory for suppliers, installers and manufacturers related to all products in their home.
