Ocean Master launches 336 Sport Cabin model designed to provide all-weather protection. This new model is the first full cabin boat in the company's 35 year history. It is available with a wide variety of engine options from single diesel inboard to twin outboards.

Ocean Master Marine, a pioneer builder of offshore sport fishing boats, is proud to introduce the 336 Sport Cabin. The new 33-foot model features a full cabin for all weather protection along with standing headroom and plenty of room for a dinette. The forward cabin provides a huge sleeping berth and marine head. The enclosed layout allows for full climate control including heating and air conditioning.

For those who prefer a classic sportfishing layout, the 336 Sport Cabin can be ordered with an open rear bulkhead. This option is known as the dayboat layout and is well suited to tournament level fishing. The boat can also be outfitted with a large swim platform for diving and watersports. Bow and stern thrusters are optional to provide easy docking on a single engine.

Engine options include single diesel and twin outboards. The first 336 Sport Cabin was powered by a single 600 horsepower diesel inboard. Diesel power offers proven reliability and long range. The unobstructed stern is perfect for fishing while an optional side tuna door makes boating that tournament winning fish safe and easy.

For those seeking maximum speed and maneuverability, the 336 Sport Cabin can be equipped with twin outboards to 600 horsepower. The stability inherent in this design means the hull can easily support upper controls or a full tower. Of course the captain enjoys all weather protection and good sight lines from the standard helm located inside the cabin.

According to Mark Hauptner, President and founder of Ocean Master Marine, "The new model appeals to two types of customers. The hardcore, offshore anglers like its all-weather capability. They want to fish in anything short of a hurricane, and if need be overnight while out in the canyons. The other customer is into cruising and wants the amenities of a full cabin such as a dinette and sleeping quarters. These customers are making trips to the islands or down to the Baja peninsula. For them it's the ultimate mid-size cruising boat."

Ocean Master boats have long enjoyed a reputation for ruggedness and are a mainstay of many charter fishing operations, including world renowned Pesca Panama. How tough are Ocean Master boats? They can easily stand up to a large caliber bullet fired at point blank range. Just ask the Navy, which has a fleet of Ocean Masters stationed in one of their most isolated bases. These boats have been run day in and day out in some of the roughest seas imaginable and have surpassed 300,000 miles of hard use. That's the equivalent of 12 times around the globe.
