Hallmark Insights enhanced their already robust online offering by creating a wellness-specific merchant list to current incentive offering. This offers an attractive option for participants in corporate wellness programs.

Hallmark Insights, a business incentive services provider in Minneapolis, has added two wellness-specific merchant lists to their current incentive redemption offering. The new wellness lists have been added to provide a selection of merchant gift cards that support a healthy lifestyle, an attractive incentive option for participants in corporate wellness programs.

As a member of the Hallmark family, Hallmark Insights understands how to motivate employees. As experts in the wellness incentive arena, Hallmark Insights is committed to engaging employees and their dependents to participate in health risk assessments and lifestyle/ disease management programs. As more companies seek to create a corporate culture of health, participation in wellness programs becomes more important as both a benefit to corporate employees and as a positive impact to the company's bottom line.

Innovative program enhancements keep wellness programs fresh and focused on employee engagement. The right mix of merchant gift cards can generate a positive incentive to encourage healthy behavior. To continue to deliver the value of choice to wellness clients, Hallmark has developed two targeted merchant lists that clients can add to their wellness incentive program:

  •     Health & Wellness list: Focused on merchants who support a healthy lifestyle whether it's clothing for physical activity (apparel/shoes & department stores), supporting a healthy cause (charity), knowledge and information (videos and books), healthy cooking (for the home), nutrition & wellness (pharmacy) or overall fitness gear and equipment (sporting goods).
  •     Healthy Beginnings list: More specific to healthy prenatal and postnatal care, this list includes apparel/accessories, children's wear and toys, department stores and health and wellness options such as national pharmacies.

A selection of the merchant and retailer gift cards included in the wellness lists are: Motherhood® Maternity, JustGive.org, Babies"R"Us, Amazon.com®, CVS/pharmacy®, Walgreens®, Bikeshop.com, Cabela's®, DicksSportingGoods.com and REI E-Gift Card.

As corporations look for an opportunity to reduce their bottom line costs, wellness programs become increasingly popular. Using incentives to convince employees to make healthy decisions is a proven success strategy. According to Nick Balestino, award partnership manager at Hallmark Insights and director of agency relations on the Incentive Gift Card Council, "When you provide gift cards as an incentive for your wellness program, you make the program attractive to everyone in your organization. Research shows that choice is one of the most compelling measures of success in an incentive program. One size incentive does not fit all and offering a selection that provides choice and flawless delivery keeps your employees focused on participating in your wellness program and on track for better health. We are proud to offer many of today's leading merchant gift cards as a tool to reinforce a healthy lifestyle"
